Job Summary
About this Role:
Our client is a leading player in the fastmoving consumer goods (FMCG) sector with a strong presence in the food and beverage industry; continuously expanding their footprint across key markets including dairy and cold chain distribution. We are seeking a Depot in Charge who will be responsible for the overall management and accountability of the assigned depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to FIFO in stock management and dispatch.
- Oversee timely dispatch of customer orders and returns control.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and random audits as required.
- Manage storage of finished goods and oversee cold chain assets within the depot.
- Maintain accurate depot reports including MIS reports and SAP inputs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures within the depot.
- Monitor and manage labor efficiency costs and overall depot performance.
- Ensure correct invoicing and posting of relevant stock movements as per company policy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics Supply Chain or Distribution & Warehousing.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in depot warehouse or supply chain management.
- FMCG industry experience required; dairy sector experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and accounting packages.
- Customerfocused mindset with stakeholder management skill
