We are seeking a Middle School Science Olympiad Coach for the academic year to lead our students in one of the nations most competitive and exciting STEM enrichment OverviewThe Middle School Science Olympiad Coach will lead students in STEM-focused events preparing them for competitions through structured practices teamwork and skill-building activities. The coach ensures that students are competition-ready organizes practices and trial runs and fosters collaboration and position requires 175 hours of practice-based training plus participation in three competitions and one family/community STEM event during the -Plan and lead two structured practices per week ensuring a total of 175 training hours are completed.-Reschedule sessions if absent to meet the 175-hour requirement.-Maintain 90% student attendance and engagement.-Provide timely communication with families and school leadership about practices schedules and competitions.-Supervise students responsibly at all practices competitions and events.-Lead teams in three official competitions during the school year.-Organize at least one family/community STEM showcase to highlight student projects and achievements.-Report directly to the STEM Team Coordinator.-Carry out other duties as assigned by the CAO related to STEM program -Bachelors degree in science engineering or related STEM field preferred.-Experience with Science Olympiad STEM competitions or coaching/mentoring middle school students highly desirable.-Strong organizational leadership and communication skills.-Ability to model professionalism and teamwork while supervising students.-Commitment to fostering equity inclusion and a positive team spirit.-Compensation & Bonus ProgramStipend: $5000-$7500 (covers 175 hours of practices competitions family event).Performance Bonuses:Top 3 competition placement: $2500 bonus (Head Coach)Top 10 competition placement: $1500 bonus (Head Coach)
