Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Syracuse NY
Facility Type: Hospital / Outpatient Setting
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Hours: 8.5 hours per day 42.5 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a hospital-based outpatient team in Syracuse NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality rehabilitation services focused on improving patient mobility function and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessments.
Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions for patients with a variety of conditions.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor document and report patient progress according to established standards.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
Qualifications:
Active New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License.
Education: Bachelors Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of physical therapy experience preferred.
Preferred: Prior outpatient rehabilitation experience.
Strong communication teamwork and clinical assessment skills.
