Project Advisor – Evernorth – Hybrid – St. Louis, MO

As a member of the Provider Strategy & Consultation team youre an integral part of optimizing the Supply Chain for both providers and our clients. Our team is responsible for optimizing networks meeting client custom requests and partnering with our Sales & Account Management partners to provide potential network solutions to win new business and retain clients. We are the preferred partners to educate clients on unique provider network solutions to help them achieve their business goals and best serve their members.

This position will be a key resource for supporting the execution of initiatives impacting Supply Chain and Organizational Client Network Strategy. This position is responsible for consulting with cross-functional partners on pharmacy network contracting initiatives in order to drive contract creation execution and system setup. They will be responsible for supporting Senior Advisors in the development and maintenance of initiative-specific project plans quantifying the risks and impact and executing towards solutions.

Essential Functions

Initiates and maintains effective channels of communication with matrix partners including but not limited to Credentialing Legal Compliance Pricing and Finance and external Independent Providers.

Manages strategic positioning for provider contracting and assists with development of networks.

Contributes to the development of alternative network initiatives. Supports the Senior Advisor with tracking and processing pharmacy contracts tied to contracting initiatives.

Works with internal partners to analyze review impact and address pharmacy contracting questions through the Teams provider facing Mailboxes.

Assists in resolving elevated and complex Pharmacy contract complaints. Research problems and negotiates with internal/external partners/customers to resolve highly complex and/or escalated issues.

Handles a high-pressure environment with multiple competing priorities. Synthesizes complex concepts into a digestible pharmacy-facing message. Stays abreast of the changing healthcare landscape in order to provide relevant network strategy guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience preferred. Masters degree with 3 years relevant experience highly desired.

5 years relevant work experience with proven track record of success or

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and indirectly lead others effectively (e.g. leading without direct authority).

Negotiating and contract management skills preferred however not required

Strong analytical problem identification and resolution skills required

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional interaction skills including presentation.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage specific deliverables and workload within an environment of tight deadlines.

Ability to manage complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of potential solutions and work collaboratively with other departments and/or providers to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
