Registered Nurse Manager

Hospital Resource Pool / Coordinator for Stroke & Magnet

This role will manage approximately 20 FTEs as well as coordinate responsibility for Stroke and Magnet Programs at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center

The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation.

Shift: Days (flexible)

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations including scheduling resources and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews hires and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 yrs or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED

  • 2 yrs RECENT RN bedside hospital experience REQUIRED

  • Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED

  • RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED

Education

  • RN-Bachelors Degree or

  • RN-Masters Degree

Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Facility Description:

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed facility featuring the latest healthcare technologies serving Williamsburg and the surrounding community.

The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive maternity care where patients may stay in one room as well as a Gold Level Geriatric ER.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$91416.00-$152380.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
