Job Summary
Position: Warehouse Specialist
Location: Brea CA
Type: Direct Hire
Were seeking a highly responsible high-energy Warehouse Distribution Specialist to oversee the core operations of our distribution center. This role involves managing the daily picking packing and inventory control processes while leading a team of temporary associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Manage train and supervise a team of 15 temporary workers to ensure accurate and timely completion of the picking and packing processes.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
- Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues (e.g. system errors process bottlenecks) and resolving them quickly to maintain workflow.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular and accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain inventory integrity.
- Process Improvement: Identify and suggest ways to improve warehouse processes demonstrating an efficiency-minded approach.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a warehouse specialist or similar role in warehouse distribution
- Must demonstrate high ownership of all duties and maintain a very responsible approach to the role.
- Impeccable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Exceptional detail orientation is essential for inventory accuracy and process supervision.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient with computers and capable of quickly learning and operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Must be highly organized and maintain a high-energy presence on the floor.
Pay
- Salary $55k to $65K
