Introduction
Join ASMLs Identity and Access Management (IAM) team where we safeguard access to critical systems across the company. As part of our mission to improve usability and reduce operational overhead we are developing a custom Identity Dashboard to replace the frequently changing Keycloak user interface. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to a scalable solution that simplifies IAM operations for internal teams.
Your assignment
You will design and build a modular Identity Dashboard with both front-end and back-end components. The back-end will expose a stable API documented using OpenAPI to interface with ASMLs IAM platform. This project will help internal teams manage identity tasks more efficiently and securely.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Design a clean responsive front-end interface for IAM operations
Develop a stable back-end API using Golang
Document the API using OpenAPI standards
Containerize the dashboard for deployment and scalability
Align the solution with ASMLs security and compliance standards
Test the dashboard against live IAM instances
Collect and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders
This is a bachelor or master internship for minimum 6 months 3-5 days per week (2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship you:
Are pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science software engineering or a related field
Have experience with front-end frameworks such as Plain HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Are familiar with back-end development preferably in Python (Flask/FastAPI) or Golang
Understand API design and documentation principles
Are proactive analytical and collaborative in your approach
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institutefor the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e. Nuffic agreement).
