This role may require up to 15% travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

As the IT Director and Business Partner for the CRDN Operating Unit you will be an integral part of the Global IT OU Strategy Healthcare IT and Product Innovation (OSHPI) your role you will be the senior strategic IT partner sharing ownership of business strategy and business value results. You will own executive-level relationships and serve as the primary liaison working to converge Information Technology in support of Medtronic Operating Units. This is achieved by stimulating surfacing and shaping demand for capabilities and assets in addition to ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets are captured optimized and recognized. Through effective engagement and relationship capabilities this role contributes to the OSHPI leadership team by actively partnering with business peers to determine strategic direction. As a member of the IT Extended Leadership team you will work to identify ways in which the IT function can support and advance business objectives.

In this position you will shape business demand into supply by 1) partnering with OU leaders and teams to facilitate the creation of IT strategy documents business capability maturity assessments business cases and value plans; 2) ensuring value optimization and communication; and 3) enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them. You will be aligned with the Coronary Renal Denervation Operating Unit. As the CRDN IT Business Partner the incumbent is accountable both strategically and tactically for all IT services and delivery to the stakeholder community.   • Build key relationships w/CRDN executives Directors and Sponsors across multiple disciplines and departments
  • Develop rapport as dotted line member ofthe CRDN SLT the CRDN XLT and CV Portfolio XLT
  • Successfully manage team within matrixed reporting structure
  • Collaborate onCRDN Strategies digital transformation andtechnology discovery forbusiness impact programs andprojects
  • Establish strategic IT vision capabilities technology and data needs and align stakeholders
  • Develop vision and plan that champions advancements in technology and services
  • Influence across Medtronic the CRDN General Management and Functional Leaders recommendations
  • Forge connections between OUs and IT for greater enterprise outcomes
  • Lead Capability Assessments Journey Maps Value stream Mapsto frame outcomes and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain CRDN strategic technology roadmaps for Global IS
  • Demand rationalization and prioritization(with stakeholders)
  • Manage CRDN IT investment budgets and portfoliodelivery
  • Act as key collaboration partner across IT Function value streams for demand planning/delivery changemanagement and value realization
  • Act as CRDN technology partner alliance strategy support liaison
  • Functional IT support leader for CRDN GMs And Functional leaders

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10 years of experience with a bachelors degree or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree
  • 7 years of managerial experience

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Previous Medtronic experience is strongly Preferred
  • Priority consideration given to internal applicants local to Mounds View or Santa Rosa Medtronic locations

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$198400.00 - $297600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
