Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for caring nurturing supervision and safety of children
- Plans organizes and implements activities and special events for the program.
- Oversees daily program operations by ensuring facilities and equipment are available policies and guidelines are followed and all standards and licensing requirements are met.
- Provides recommendations to the supervisor regarding program development policy and procedure updates and program evaluation.
- Ensure Agency Policies and Procedures program standards WCB standards Community Care Licensing regulations risk management requirements and general facility safety standards are met
- Collaborates with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate services facilitate referrals and represent the organization or program at external meetings and events.
- Monitors and authorizes program expenditures maintains accurate financial records and contributes to budget preparation in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintains program records and statistical data and prepares reports as required
Qualifications:
- A diploma certificate and/or relevant experience working with children in recreation education or other social services.
- Current First Aid certificate and Food Safe (or willingness to obtain)
- Successful completion of Agency screening process including criminal record check
- Class 4 Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain

Hours: Casual on call hours Monday to Friday.
Rate of Pay: $22.60 per hour
