We are seeking a Lead Cost Manager to drive projects and achieve excellent outcomes for our clients in the Pharma/Biotech construction sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead all aspects of cost management from pre-contract planning to post-contract commercial management
- Produce and present comprehensive cost plans estimates and monthly reports
- Oversee procurement processes including pre-qualification bid analysis and contract compilation
- Manage cost variances change control processes and value engineering initiatives
- Provide leadership to the cost management team and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the improvement of cost management procedures
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client-facing role leading teams and managing complex stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology construction environment.
Qualifications :
- Technical expert in all cost management areas; pre-contract post contract and final account.
- Strong understanding of all mechanical process electrical and plumbing systems as they relate to construction of projects - and/or
- Strong understanding of all civils structural and architectural aspects as they relate to construction of projects
- Experienced Leader of cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of high complexity.
- Experience with advising clients on value management value engineering and life cycle costing.
- Expert on construction industry technical matters such as different procurement routes value management and value engineering.
- Excellent presentation both verbal and written.
- Great organizational skills; ability to multi-task and be a team player.
