We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to lead our Data Team our Data Strategy Data Operations and Data Innovation leveraging in-depth medical imaging knowledge AI development knowledge and the physics of medical imaging knowledge. This role is part of the Innovation & Clinical Strategy department. Our department drivesthe Innovation towards new products and solutions to transform breast cancer care with anextensive network of data and clinical partners worldwide.

As a Data Lead you will be managing a team of Data Engineers while working closely withdifferent stakeholders in the company (Regulatory Marketing Research and DevelopmentProduct Management) to ensure ScreenPoints data needs are fulfilled in a timely sustainable and innovative manner.

Your responsibilities

• Proactively define & lead the Data strategy to serve ScreenPoint business needs.
• Own the end to end data process from the acquisition governance and utilizationof large-scale medical imaging and clinical datasets from global partners to driveinnovation product excellence and clinical showcase.
• Ensure data quality compliance and scalability (standardization and traceability processes) aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Establish data infrastructure and tools for efficient annotation versioning and datalifecycle management.
• Develop support and maintain partnerships with hospitals research institutions and industry collaborators for data acquisition. Drive agreement execution.
• Responsible for coordination and alignment of Data activities with other teams anddepartments within ScreenPoint including management.
• Responsible for managing and mentoring the Data team.
  
• Ensuring that Data activities within ScreenPoint are done effectively and in a scalable way to match the company needs for multi-modal outcomes-centered datasets with high standards of quality.
  
• Report data-driven insights and progress to the management team and contribute tostrategic decisions.

Requirements

You are self-motivated with a high level of energy enthusiasm and initiative with proven experience in leading a research/data team. Moreover you are able to quickly gain a deep understanding of our medical products and their environment. You are able to strategize coordinate and bring creative thinking during decision-makingand problem-solving. Furthermore you have:

• Masters or PhDs degree in Computer Science Mathematics Physics or relatedfield.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical imaging projects involving data science clinical science or machine learning preferably with multi-source clinical and imaging data including mammography tomosynthesis or MRI.
• Knowledge about medical clinical data how it fits within hospital environments(PACS/RIS) the AI algorithm development process and clinical research studies.
• Strong understanding of annotation workflows data curation for algorithm training and validation and clinical study design.
• Strong proactive leadership with excellent communication.
• High level of ownership and strong stakeholder management skills to manage different functions (from sales to product) effectively.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and state-of-the-art in Data for healthcare including data privacy regulations (GDPR HIPAA MDR FDA).
