St Marys CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacherto join our team teaching our delightful Year 2 class from January 2026 initially for two terms. The vacancy has arisen as the current teacher is leaving to take on a new role as Headteacher in another school.
As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons and ensuring every child feels valued supported and challenged in their learning journey. You will work closely with the current job-share teacher who knows the class well.
You will:
be a motivated and reflective teacher committed to continuous professional development
have high expectations of pupils and a strong belief in every childs ability to succeed
be able to create a warm inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
communicate effectively with pupils staff and parents
supports our Christian ethos and values
be eager to contribute to school life and be an active member of the team.
We will offer you:
support from St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocese MATs central team and family of 22 schools
a friendly dedicated and experienced team of staff and leadership
engaged and well-behaved pupils who love learning
ongoing professional development opportunities
