We are hiring a Senior Tunnel & Geotechnical Engineer to become part of the Geotechnical discipline. Our team delivers ground engineering & tunnelling assessments and designs from concept feasibility preliminary and detailed development across a diverse portfolio including roads and railways infrastructure stations buildings and high-rise structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and supervision of tunnel projects using TBM NATM and other construction methods including preparation of drawings and technical specifications.
- Design and oversee additional underground structures such as cut-and-cover tunnels shafts and underground stations.
- Conduct and lead geotechnical investigations and assessments for a variety of tunnelling projects.
- Coordinate geotechnical tasks within the team providing guidance on complex technical challenges.
- Offer technical mentorship to junior engineers fostering their professional development.
- Analyze geotechnical data for ground characterization risk assessment and report generation.
- Develop geotechnical designs for excavations retaining systems earthworks soil improvement foundations and perform stability and settlement analyses.
- Execute geotechnical calculations prepare specifications and produce detailed engineering drawings.
- Lead bid preparation from the tunnelling discipline perspective covering both technical and budgetary aspects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different geographies to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Geological or Mining Engineering.
- A minimum of 810 years of proven and recent experience in tunnelling engineering is required. Previous geotechnical experience will be highly valued.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages (spoken and written) is required.
- Skilled in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D RS2 ROCSCIENCE AutoCAD Excel and Presto.
- Solid understanding of Spanish codes and international standards (AASHTO ACI ASTM Eurocodes SBC).
- International project experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional growth especially in geotechnical and tunnelling engineering.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in culturally diverse and technically demanding environments.
