We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking a passionate Power BI Developer to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team you will play a crucial role in analyzing data and delivering visual storytelling by developing actionable and aesthetic Power BI reports to our main stakeholders. You will connect data and business and be a key player in bringing Ascendis Pharma to the next level on our data journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment collaborate with cross-functional global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the Commercial Europe Data Team consisting of 4 colleagues and report directly to Babak Bajelan who is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Develop design and maintain Power BI reports dashboards and data experiences with a strong UX focus
Collaborate continuously with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions
Train business users in how to use the teams solutions
Create and manage DAX measures calculated columns and metadata
Work closely with the team on designing and building the best BI solutions to support the business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree preferably a masters degree in computer science IT engineering or something completely different and 2 years of experience from a similar role.

Furthermore you have:

Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tool
An aesthetic approach to building actionable reports with a focus on UX
Experience with translating business requirements into visual storytelling
Knowledge about best practice visualizations
An understanding of the concept of tabular models (Power BI semantic models)

To succeed in this role we also expect you to be curious collaborative and motivated to expand your expertise across domains.

Travel: Approx. 10-20 days per year.
