Schedule:
- 3 days - 12 hours shifts
- 7 am to 7:30 pm
- Rotating Days Weekends Holidays
- Call Rotations Required
Performs CT examinations on pediatric patients ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.
Essential Functions:- Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients internal structures.
- Prepares patients for CT procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required.
- Monitors patients during CT scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored.
- Calibrates and maintains CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret CT images and provide accurate diagnoses.
Education Requirement:Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement:- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
- Current ODH License required
Certifications:- Current CPR Certification required.
- ARRT certification (CT) within 1 year of employment required.
Skills:Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:- Twoyears of clinical experience in the RadiologicSciences required.
- One year of experience in CT procedures preferred.
- Experience in pediatric setting preferred.
