The candidate will assist in the daily operations and organisation of an optics research laboratory. This role involves maintaining laboratory equipment supporting experimental setups ensuring compliance with safety regulations and assisting students and researchers with ongoing optical experiments.
Responsibilities
Maintain and calibrate optical and electronic equipment. Prepare optical tables and align basic optical components such as lenses mirrors lasers and detectors. Ensure that laboratory safety procedures are followed. Assist with data collection documentation and preliminary analysis. Support the setup of educational demonstrations and research experiments. Monitor the project budget
Required Qualifications
Basic knowledge of lab safety. Strong organizational and communication skills. Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments is an asset.
