*8:30am 1pm Monday Friday with additional planning time.

The role would suit an individual with HLTA experience or someone looking to take the next step in their career in education. The role would provide a wealth of experience and opportunities to lead plan assess and teach in a small specialised group. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours and who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in childrens lives. You will lead and deliver a daily nurture-based intervention programme for a small group of children working in close partnership with the class teacher to create a caring inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes both personal and academic growth. We would welcome applicants with a range of experiences both personally and professionally.
You will:
have strong relationship building skills and techniques
be passionate about helping children reach their potential despite challenges
be able to communicate clearly with children and adults verbally and in writing
have experience of working with all ages of children in school
be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
be confident in supporting good behaviour and is confident in deploying a range of behaviour management strategies
have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
have a full understanding of Safeguarding.

Qualifications:
Essential: Grade C /4 level Numeracy and Literacy.
Essential: Has a basic level of computer literacy.
Desirable:A relevant HLTA qualification TA qualification or relevant experience.
Line manager: Academy Head.
