Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager provides safe and courteous transportation to clients participating in rehabilitation programs.

Essential Functions:

Provides safe courteous transportation to clients participating in the rehabilitation programs.
Maintains cleanliness fueling and operational readiness of assigned vehicles.
Drives staff when necessary to perform professional activities.
Demonstrates quality customer service as perceived by all customer groups and is ethical in relationships with consumers coworkers families visitors and members of the community.
Assists clients with mobility aids adaptive tools and personal items during entry and exit from vehicles.
Supports off-site training activities and field trips as needed by the instructional team.
Communicate promptly with staff and clients regarding schedule changes or delays.

Additional Functions:

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Valid drivers license
Excellent driving record
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and mid-afternoons
Available for on-call driving assignments with 48 hours notice
Ability to use own vehicle or company fleet vehicle (mileage tracking required)

Working Conditions:

Considerable daily travel usually within a 20-mile radius of campus
