Job Description
Champion workplace safety and compliance with Teledyne! For decades weve delivered mission-critical technologies for aerospace and defense. As an EHS Technician youll play a vital role in ensuring a safe compliant and environmentally responsible workplace while promoting a culture of safety across all operations.
What youll do
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
- Coordinate PPE inventory and facilitate safety training programs
- Conduct audits inspections and accident investigations
- Implement EHS policies for chemical safety ergonomics and injury prevention
- Manage SDS and hazardous communication programs
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management systems
- Coordinate emergency response and safety committees
- Stay current on regulatory changes and company policies
What you need
- Vocational or technical certificate and 5 years of EHS experience (required)
- Experience working with local state and federal regulatory agencies (required)
- Strong communication organizational and project management skills (required)
- Proficiency in MS Outlook Excel and EHS systems (required)
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens lawful permanent residents refugees and asylees) (required)
