Job Summary
Overview:
The client is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support their Technical Director and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with basic chemical testing strong communication skills and the ability to assist with both technical and customer-facing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine chemical testing in accordance with Certificates of Analysis including:
*pH
*Acid Value
*Solids
*Other standard analytical tests as required
- Enter Certificate of Analysis (COA) data into internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond to technical emails and questions in a clear professional manner
- Communicate directly with customers to address questions concerns and product-related information
- Assist in creating prototypes and samples for marketing initiatives and to support the sales team
- Carry out general laboratory and office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Pay rate: $18 - $20/hr
Qualifications:
- Experience performing basic chemical tests (pH Acid Value Solids etc.) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with customers
- Proficiency with standard office software and data entry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a lab environment
- Need to have cosmetic chemical background and some knowledge of testing
