Astral Industries: Astral Industries is a premier manufacturer of high-quality steel burial caskets offering a diverse range of products including metal solid wood engineered wood veneer wood and cremation caskets. The division is unique in its ability to purchase raw steel coils and produce finished powder-coated caskets within a single facility. Astrals manufacturing capabilities include electro-mechanical assembly fabrication sheet metal forming stamping structural welding and automated powder coating. The company utilizes advanced processes such as a 6-stage pre-treatment for protective coatings and fully automated powder coat lines capable of handling large parts. Position Overivew:

This position will ensure that expected quality and customer satisfaction goals are accomplished while preparing and delivery burial caskets to Funeral Homes within Wilbert Funeral Services Casket territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensures that all caskets are properly inspected and prepared before shipment
• Responsible for general personal appearance upkeep of all equipment facilities and delivery vehicles.
• Follow delivery schedule set by the warehouse manager and deliver caskets on-time to customers with great service and respect.
• Unload & receive casket replenishment inventory trucks/trailers from the Lynn IN manufacturing facility.
• Consider safety first and comply with DOT & PPE requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Distribution Manager.

Education:

• High School GED or equivalent is preferred

Skills:

• Adaptability Communication Customer/Team Orientated Microsoft Office Knowledge.

Requirements:

• Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and be able to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical card.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and talk or hear.
• Driving a delivery vehicle 90%. Handle lift and load caskets up to approx.
• 100lbs. Noise Level is moderate.
