If you have a passion for preparing quality food and delivering exceptional guest experiences we want you to be part of our culinary team! As a Cook you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive fresh well-prepared meals while working in a newly renovated and energetic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes portion control and presentation standards.
  
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with StepStone and hotel quality standards.
  
• Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations equipment and storage areas.
  
• Complete opening and closing duties including setup breakdown and cleaning of kitchen areas.
  
• Monitor food quality freshness and temperatures throughout service.
  
• Assist with food prep stocking and inventory as needed.
  
• Communicate effectively with service staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  
• Notify the manager immediately of any food safety concerns equipment issues or guest complaints.
  
• Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
  
• Assist other kitchen and service team members with duties as requested.

• One (1) year of cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
  
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
  
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques food preparation and kitchen equipment.
  
• Must have knowledge of applicable Federal state and local health safety and sanitation regulations.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• High school education preferred; relevant training and experience required.
  
• Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certifications (e.g. food handler permit).
  
• CPR and first aid training preferred.
  
• Additional language ability preferred.
