Position Title: Licensed Master Social Worker
Location:Jamaica NY
Duration: 8 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day 5 days per week)
Shift Time: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: From $59/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Master Social Workerfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Jamaica NY

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients and families.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Assist with discharge planning and connect patients with community resources.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
Participate in team meetings case reviews and interdisciplinary conferences.

Skills & Experience:

Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LMSW.
Preferred: Experience in hospital or psychiatric emergency settings.

Education & Licensure:

Education: Masters Degree in Social Work required.
Licensure: Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verified).
