Job Summary
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a highly motivated analytical and customer focused Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in our Plantation FL headquarters or our Bellevue WA office. Combining an understanding of finance strong practical knowledge of financial statements and showcasing the ability to analyze data in an impactful way this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to drive decision-making and ensure Chewys financial goals are achieved.
What Youll Do:
- Support the preparation of consolidated monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis packages for senior leadership
- Partner with the Senior Financial Analyst to track financial performance explain variances and identify risks and opportunities versus plan
- Maintain and enhance recurring financial models dashboards and supporting schedules to improve forecast accuracy and streamline reporting
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for executive and board-level audiences
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional leaders to ensure data accuracy and alignment across financial deliverables
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to simplify reporting processes enhance data automation and reduce cycle times
- Effectively manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- 02 years of progressive finance experience (including internships or full-time roles) with exposure to financial reporting budgeting or forecasting
- Strong understanding of financial statements and analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel including advanced functions (VLOOKUP/Index Match SUMIFS Pivot Tables etc.)
- Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills (Excel/PowerPoint dashboards Tableau etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and to deal with rapidly changing operating conditions while still delivering to expectations
- Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment
Bonus:
- Experience with Hyperion SmartView Tableau Oracle ERP SQL
- Familiarity with e-commerce or retail business models
