Located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood our all-suite hotel offers guests a relaxing stay surrounded by upscale shopping dining and entertainment. In this pivotal leadership role youll work hands-on alongside a dedicated team to ensure the property operates seamlesslymaintaining systems enhancing safety standards and supporting the overall guest experience. Your expertise will help ensure our guests and team members enjoy a comfortable and secure environment every day.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility including physical buildings mechanical equipment electrical systems heating and cooling systems life safety systems and grounds.
- Conduct facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Assign verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.
- Direct oversee and maintain required documentation for energy management and conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
- Lead manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations including scheduling budgeting and contractor compliance.
- Obtain required licenses and permits to ensure full compliance with codes regulations and safety standards.
- Direct daily department operations including guest service standards product quality inventory management cost controls and budgeting.
- Monitor and develop team member performance providing supervision professional development and recognition.
- Leader and self-starter with the ability to recruit interview and train mentor and motivate team members.
- Strong mechanical aptitude including experience with boilers chillers two-pipe heating systems
- Ability to execute a maintenance plan across guestrooms ensuring that the team has access to appropriate equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in property operations or engineering management within the hospitality industry a must.
- Open availability
- Strong knowledge of facility management safety regulations and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with energy management and conservation programs.
- Familiarity with capital project management and contractor bidding processes.
