About Us: Senior Helpers of LA Beach Cities provides professional in-home care services to seniors ensuring they live independently and safely in their own homes. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate quality care and are looking for dedicated caregivers to join our team.
Job Description: We are actively seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide exceptional care to our senior clients. As a caregiver you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed.
- Provide mobility assistance including help with walking transfers and exercises.
- Monitor and report any changes in the clients health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
Qualifications:
- Fluent English.
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate patient and reliable.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
