Short Description:
Cath Lab RN - 4 Cath Labs & 3 EP Labs serving adult and pediatric cardiac patients in the Upstate New York region.
Complete Description:
The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural department specializing in mechanical and electrical cardiac diagnosis and intervention for patients throughout the Upstate New York region.
The program includes 4 Cath Labs and 3 Electrophysiology (EP) Labs providing care for adult and pediatric populations. This comprehensive environment includes a pre- and post-procedural holding area for continuity of care.
The practice model features collaboration between Registered Nurses and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs) with a focus on excellent patient outcomes safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Moderate sedation training
Proficient in Dysrhythmia and Telemetry
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN:
TAVR MitraClip and Watchman procedures
Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics
Cardiac Interventions: CTO PCI Pericardiocentesis
Vascular Interventions: RotoPro LVADs AngioVac FlowTriever
Mechanical Circulatory Support: ECMO Impella IABP ProtekDuo LVAD
Structural Heart Procedures: TAVR MitraClip Watchman CardioMEMS PFO ASD VSD Valvuloplasty ASA
Critical Care or Cardiac Experience required
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Cardiovascular certification or RCES
Familiarity with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment
EP Lab experience
Certifications Required: BLS ACLS (AHA)
Experience Required: 2 Years Cath Lab
Preferred Experience: Structural Heart Mechanical Support EP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
