As a Security Officer with Securitas you will be responsible for the security and safety of property and personnel. You will be trained on all site-specific policies and procedures providing excellent customer service and assist in emergency response activities as needed.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions hazards unlocked doors security violations blocked entrances and exits and unauthorized persons.

• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries suspicious activity emergency situations and any other observed issues.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma GED OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security Law Enforcement OR Military experience a plus!!
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be driver certified and have a valid DL.

• Must have a reliable means of communication ( phone).

• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Must have the ability to speak read and write English.

• CPR AED and First aid certifications are a plus but are not needed for every site.

• With or without reasonable accommodation the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing hearing speaking and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms stooping kneeling crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting standing and walking which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
