We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Project Manager / Project Engineer to join our team. This position requires strong technical aptitude the ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects from estimation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to balance technical detail customer communication and project oversight in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quotes estimates and proposals based on customer specifications and engineering requirements.
Manage all aspects of assigned manufacturing projects including engineering purchasing material control quality assurance and installation.
Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and meet quality standards.
Review project data and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Maintain effective communication and coordination between departments and with customers.
Proactively contact customers prior to manufacturing to confirm that all requirements and expectations are clearly understood and met.
Oversee P&IDs schematics and detailed drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-up and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
High level of technical proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of company products and customer requirements.
Associate degree or higher in an engineering discipline strongly preferred; equivalent technical experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Stable work history with a proven record of reliability and follow-through.
Excellent time management organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in manufacturing or industrial project management.
Familiarity with P&IDs schematics and mechanical systems.
