Senior Science Technician Lead Biology Prep Maintain Ecosystems and Support Fieldwork Surrey
A high-achieving school in Surrey is recruiting a meticulous Senior Science Technician to lead the support for the Biologycurriculum with an emphasis on ecology from January 2026.
- Senior Science Technician (Biology) required from January 2026.
- Surrey-based school with excellent grounds and facilities (South East).
- Seeking a specialist to lead Biology prep maintain greenhouses and support fieldwork.
You will be responsible for preparing all Biology practicals maintaining the schools greenhouse and pond/ecology areas and managing the specialized equipment (microscopes models). This role is key to ensuring the success of A-Level practical endorsements and field trips.
Experience and Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Science Technician specializing in Biology up to A-Level.
- Strong expertise in microscopy dissection culturing and maintaining biological samples/ecosystems.
- Excellent knowledge of CLEAPSS and safety regulations related to biological materials.
- Proven ability to support and organize external fieldwork logistics.
