A supportive secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide targeted support for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs from January 2026.

Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting students with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour in an educational setting.
- Relevant training or qualification in therapeutic approaches de-escalation or restorative practice.
- Excellent empathy patience and ability to build strong trusting relationships with vulnerable students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and clear communication with external agencies.
