PE Technician Manage Sports Equipment Inventory Laundry and Facilities Setup Essex
A large secondary school in Essex is seeking a highly organized and energetic PE Technician to manage sports equipment and facilities support from January 2026.
- PE Technician required from January 2026.
- Essex-based school with extensive sports facilities (South East).
- Seeking a highly practical person to manage the storage maintenance and setup of all sports equipment.
You will be responsible for the inventory security and maintenance of all sports equipment (balls nets training aids specialized gym equipment). The role includes managing the PE kit laundry ensuring facilities (halls pitches) are safely prepared for lessons and assisting with fixtures setup.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience managing inventory and equipment in a sports or educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for stock control and ordering.
- Practical knowledge of basic repair and maintenance for sports apparatus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support after-school fixtures and events.

The PE department is large and high-achieving running a very busy schedule of lessons clubs and competitive fixtures. You will be a vital member of the team ensuring lessons run smoothly and safely. We offer an Outer London fringe salary and support for further qualifications in sports facility management or first aid.
