Job Summary
Would you like a fulfilling role as an LKS2 Teacher in a busy Croydon school from January 2026 This LKS2 Teacher vacancy is open to part-time or full-time applicants and is ideal for a practitioner who loves designing coherent sequences for Years 3 and 4. A week in the life - LKS2 Teacher
Mornings: the LKS2 Teacher leads mathematics fluency and reasoning sessions and structured English lessons as the LKS2 Teacher. Afternoons: the LKS2 Teacher delivers foundation topics practical science investigations and enrichment as the LKS2 Teacher. Non-contact time is used by the LKS2 Teacher for planning assessment and moderation - activities that begin before January 2026 and continue beyond January 2026.
LKS2 Teacher Responsibilities
The LKS2 Teacher will: plan and deliver well-sequenced units across Years 3 and 4 as the LKS2 Teacher; use assessment to inform tailored interventions as the LKS2 Teacher; lead small-group support and transition work as the LKS2 Teacher. The LKS2 Teacher will liaise with subject leads to ensure curriculum coherence and will present progress at phase meetings from January 2026.
LKS2 Teacher Requirements
We seek an LKS2 Teacher with QTS/PGCE or equivalent secure KS2 subject knowledge and experience of years 34 classrooms. The LKS2 Teacher should be collaborative reflective and data-aware. Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026 induction in January 2026 and to teach from January 2026 is essential for the LKS2 Teacher.
