An ambitious Sutton primary seeks an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join Upper KS2 from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will be expected to join planning sessions prior to January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026. We are looking for a Year 4 Teacher who blends high expectations with creative enquiry-led practice.

Main duties
The Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver ambitious maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher design foundation subject projects as the Year 4 Teacher and run targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to inform next steps contribute to moderation as the Year 4 Teacher and lead parental feedback meetings as the Year 4 Teacher. Preparation for the role begins before January 2026 and the Year 4 Teacher will teach from January 2026.
Candidate profile
The ideal Year 4 Teacher holds QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) has solid KS2 experience and can evidence positive impact on pupil outcomes. The Year 4 Teacher should be able to attend planning prior to January 2026 complete induction in January 2026 and be in post from January 2026. Strong subject knowledge clarity in behaviour routines and team leadership are essential for the Year 4 Teacher.
