Job Summary
A forward-thinking design-led Independent School in Bedfordshire is seeking a confident and reflective Design & Technology Teacher to join their DT Faculty immediately. The department has a very strong reputation producing exhibition-quality student work and encouraging real design thinking rather than quick template outcomes.
About the Role
You will teach DT across KS3KS5 guiding students through:
Iterative design processes
CAD modelling and 3D visualisation
Engineering problem-solving approaches
Prototyping refinement and final product finishing
Project work is purposeful rigorous and student-owned not rushed or pre-formatted.
