Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to design develop and maintain secure high-performing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms within the public sector. You will play a key role in creating digital solutions that serve citizens improve government services and support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in native or cross-platform development and a deep understanding of security accessibility and scalability requirements unique to public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of mobile applications for iOS and Android to support government services and citizen engagement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including government stakeholders UX designers and backend engineers to deliver reliable and accessible mobile solutions.

Ensure apps comply with public sector standards for data privacy security and accessibility (e.g. WCAG GDPR).

Conduct thorough testing debugging and documentation of mobile applications.

Ensure mobile apps meet high standards of performance security and usability.

Lead code reviews provide mentorship and enforce best practices in mobile development.

Manage app releases debugging and updates on the App Store and Google Play.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

8 years of professional experience in mobile app development.

Proficiency in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.

Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles offline storage and device integration (e.g. camera GPS).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile testing frameworks.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
