Job Summary

Job Title: AZURE DATA BRICKS LEAD

Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid 2-3 days a Week)

Shift: General

Our Data Solutions team is looking for a well-rounded data professional who is proficient in all aspects of data management including building data models an enterprise data warehouse and development of ETL jobs for our US-based this role you will be expected to work closely with our onshore teams to deliver the best service and support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing developing and unit testing a large data warehouse application that meets all of the clients business process requirements.
Create complex SQL statements and embed within Ab Initio to deliver expected business results and
Develop efficient high-quality data integration code leveraging the most relevant features of Ab Initio.
Interpret requirements perform complex analyses and present options and recommendations to obtain desired results.
Create update and edit functional and technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements.
Conduct unit testing and resolve issues discovered during testing.
Assist with troubleshooting of system and application performance-related issues and recommend fixes.
Documentation of the data movement schemes and mapping between applications.
Ability to communicate efficiently and coordinate with onshore teams.

Required Skills:

15 years of experience in ETL development.
Demonstrable experience with Ab Initio components such as Rollup Scan join Partition by Key Partition by Round Robin Gather Merge Interleave Lookup and others.
Experience in Ab Initio EME GDE parallelism techniques Graphs using Data Pipeline & Component parallelisms.
Excellent SQL UNIX shell scripting and performance tuning skills.
Understanding of Continuous-flow graphs and their implementation.
Technical experience in design (mapping specifications HLD LLD) development (coding unit testing) using Ab Initio.
Experience with SQL database programming SQL performance tuning relational model analysis and UNIX shell scripting.
Strong expertise with data warehousing and data modeling such as design of a data model for an EDW mapping data and running ETL jobs.

Desired Skills:

Experience using Teradata or any other BI tools.
