Role - Solution Architect - Forensics
Location - New York City on Site
Solution Architect with forensic science OR criminal justice OR law and enforcement OR LIMS experience.
Required Skills:
2 years of experience in forensic science OR criminal justice OR law and enforcement OR could be pharmaceutical or life sciences experience in related to a laboratory environment and related systems.
Proven experience designing and implementing complex systems such as LIMS digital forensics tools or evidence management platforms.
Demonstrated experience applying hybrid project management methodologies (Waterfall Agile or Scrum)
Familiarity with forensic science technologies such as LIMS ADAMS CrimePad QualTrax and testing equipment software.
Experience with AI/ML applications in forensic science (e.g. pattern recognition predictive analytics).
Background in cybersecurity or blockchain for secure evidence tracking.
Prior work with government or law enforcement agencies on forensic technology projects.
Understanding of forensic science processes including evidence collection chain of custody and laboratory workflows.
Familiarity with forensic standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 17025/17020 ANAB OSAC SWGDAM NIST).
Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations in forensic data handling.
Job Summary:
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing technology solutions tailored to the unique needs of forensic science applications entailing all forensic services provided by the NYPD. This role involves collaborating with forensic scientists forensic executives law enforcement and development teams to create scalable secure and efficient systems that support forensic analysis evidence management and data-driven investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for advancing forensic science through technology.
