Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our OB/GYN clinic team in Ottumwa IA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations supporting patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities -
Perform general and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Prepare patients for procedures explain processes and ensure their comfort throughout the exam.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.

Document and store imaging results in the patients medical record.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to support accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Education
Experience
Certifications/Licenses

ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible in Ultrasound.

Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.

Iowa Mandatory Reporter certifications for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse.
