Job Summary

IT Project Manager Stellenbosch Cape Town

Full-time Permanent Hybrid (2 days in-office)

What you will do:

Plan execute monitor control and finalize software implementation projects according to defined scope budget timelines and technical requirements.

Develop comprehensive project plans that outline deliverables resources and schedules.

Manage and coordinate the efforts of all project stakeholders including internal teams third-party vendors and clients.

Define clear project objectives and ensure alignment with business and client goals.

Oversee and maintain quality control throughout all phases of the project life cycle.

Track project progress identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on course.

Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration.

Promote a collaborative and solution-oriented environment where ideas and best practices are shared.

Ensure project documentation reporting and governance requirements are met.

Act as the main point of contact for clients ensuring their expectations are managed and project outcomes are achieved.

Work both independently and within a team structure to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

Project Management qualification or certification (PMP Prince2 Agile etc.)

5 years experience managing IT or technology projects

Proven track record delivering complex multi-stakeholder software implementations

Solid understanding of project management tools (MS Projects Jira etc.)

Knowledge of methodologies like Agile Prince2 PMBOK or MS Solutions Framework

Strong interpersonal and communication skills you build trust and collaboration naturally

Experience in the Insurance or InsurTech industry is a definite plus
