Operations Manager Luxury Private Island Madagascar
Position Overview:
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a prestigious luxury private island in Madagascar. This role requires a highly guest-focused hospitality professional with exceptional leadership and service delivery skills. The ideal candidate will oversee front-of-house operations drive service excellence and act as a mentor to the General Manager ensuring the property maintains its world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations ensuring smooth daily functioning and guest satisfaction.
Maintain and enhance service standards across all departments to deliver a seamless luxury experience.
Host guests personally and ensure that every interaction reflects warmth professionalism and attention to detail.
Provide strong leadership mentoring and guidance to teams fostering a culture of service excellence.
Support the General Manager with operational decision-making and strategic planning.
Monitor and improve guest feedback systems ensuring consistent quality delivery.
Liaise with department heads to ensure cohesive and effective communication across the property.
Oversee stock control logistics and cost management to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a senior front-of-house or operations role within a luxury lodge resort or private island environment.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and mentoring teams.
Excellent guest relations and communication abilities.
Proven track record in delivering exceptional service in high-end hospitality settings.
Flexible hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to remote island living.
Sound understanding of operational logistics and financial awareness.
