1. Role Overview
The CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) professional is responsible for designing implementing administering and maintaining CyberArk solutions to secure and manage privileged accounts across enterprise environments.
The role involves working closely with security teams system administrators and compliance officers to ensure privileged access policies and standards are effectively enforced.
2. Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS) suite components (Vault CPM PVWA PSM PTA).
Perform installation configuration and upgrades of CyberArk infrastructure.
Define and enforce policies for privileged account management.
Onboard and manage privileged accounts credentials and sessions.
Integrate CyberArk with Active Directory LDAP and enterprise applications.
Implement password rotation policies account discovery and credential management.
Monitor and maintain CyberArk Vault health and perform regular system audits.
Develop and maintain custom connectors scripts and automation using REST APIs or PowerShell.
Collaborate with the IT security team to ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations.
Support incident response and troubleshooting for PAM-related issues.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM Suite (PAS CPM PVWA PSM PTA).
Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
Experience integrating CyberArk with AD/LDAP SIEM tools and ticketing systems.
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and Zero Trust Architecture.
Understanding of privileged account lifecycle management and compliance standards (ISO 27001 NIST GDPR).
Scripting knowledge in PowerShell Python or REST APIs for automation and customization.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
