Job Summary
A leading infrastructure firm is seeking a Funding Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale capacity funding and renewable support programmes.
You will lead a high-performing team responsible for planning and executing market auctions that secure long-term electricity capacity and support renewable investment. You will shape operational delivery strengthen governance and assurance frameworks and play a key role in supporting Irelands transition to a low-carbon secure energy system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of capacity and renewable support auctions with robust governance and quality assurance.
- Manage day-to-day operations performance and development of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external bodies including regulators and third parties.
- Monitor post-auction project delivery to ensure performance standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement capability building and process innovation.
Requirements:
- 10 years experience in the energy sector markets regulation commercial operations or infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing operational teams and delivering complex multi-stakeholder programmes.
- Skilled communicator able to influence engage and build confidence at senior levels.
- Strong organisational analytical and decision-making capability.
- Understanding of Irelands electricity system capacity market or renewable support schemes is desirable (not essential).
