As the firm continues to grow they are now seeking a capable Paralegal with residential conveyancing experience to join their friendly team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to develop their conveyancing career within a supportive and professional environment. Youll assist fee earners with a busy caseload of residential property transactions providing essential administrative and legal support from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales purchases re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents correspondence and completion statements.
- Conducting searches reviewing results and preparing reports.
- Liaising with clients estate agents lenders and other solicitors to progress matters efficiently.
- Opening and closing files ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory procedures.
- Managing post-completion work including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using the firms case management system.
About You
- At least 12 months experience working in a residential conveyancing department (essential).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and professional approach with a genuine interest in property law.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using conveyancing case management software (desirable).
