Job Summary

PLEASE NOTE THIS OPENING IS FOR EAST YORK (EGLINTON AND VICTORIA PARK AREA )

Pay rate: $22.00-24.00 / hour

Shift timings: DAY AFT

Days: MONDAY - FRIDAY

Location: East York transit-accessible

Role and Responsibilities:

Read schedule order from customer shipping order to determine items to be accurately and safely moved and distributed
Stock and restock products in correct location
Receive update inventory system and put away product to correct position
Use a computer and RF Scanner to record and track product
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other duties as required inventory count
Operate narrow aisle reach truck order picker

Material Handling / Order picking would be required as the tasks would include but not limited to:

Loading and unloading boxes Shipping Receiving
Material handling and sorting comfortable to lift 50 pounds
Sorting boxes accurately and efficiently
Order processing and fulfillment packing repacking
Performing general warehouse duties as requested
The ideal candidate will be able to
Lift carry push and pull packages and materials of up to 50 pounds in weight
Read labels and charts
Experience in using Order picker and RF scanning systems is an asset.
Work safely to complete assigned tasks
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-24.00 / hour

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

High School diploma and previous experience in a distribution center/ warehouse with experience in receiving order fulfillment and picking and shipping experience.
Previous experience operating forklift narrow reach truck and other forklifts as required.
Ability to communicate well
Ability to follow safe operation of Reach truck
Ability to work independently

Required Skills:
