As Cloud FinOps Lead you will be primarily responsible for leading project teams to design implement and modify technical projects across functional organizations. You will ensure projects meet schedule budget and technical requirements while staying updated on IT advances and business process changes. You will provide guidance consult with partners and vendors and manage risks and changes. Adhering to IT governance policies is essential in our Fort Worth TX location.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Lead and direct project teams in designing implementing and modifying IT projects across various functional organizations

• Prepare a project execution plan and identify necessary technical and business resources

• Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and meet technical quality and scope requirements

• Stay current with advances in IT and changes in the organizations business processes

• Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.

• Liaise with partners and vendors to ensure requirements are met offer issue solutions and assess risk and change management needs.

• Adhere to all IT governance policies and procedures. All associates must comply with GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control and completing all required training.

• Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

• Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the FinOps strategy across business units and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance Engineering Procurement and Product teams and establish governance frameworks for budgeting forecasting chargeback/show back and compliance.

• Operational Excellence: Implement cost allocation models and cloud financial reporting (variance analysis executive summaries) monitor KPIs and dashboards to track cloud usage efficiency and savings opportunities and recommend optimization strategies including rightsizing reservations and scaling policies.

• Enablement & Training: Develop training materials and playbooks to build FinOps capabilities across teams and mentor team members and promote a culture of financial awareness and accountability.

• Tooling & Automation: Evaluate and integrate FinOps tools (e.g. Apptio Cloud Health AWS Cost Explorer) and drive automation in cost reporting and governance processes.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 13 yrs; Assoc.9 yrs; M.S.2 yrs; PhD0 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English

• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Skills:

• Extensive experience in the IT industry with a strong background in leading and managing teams.

• Preferably with bachelors degree in business Computer Science or a related field

• At least 5 years of firsthand experience in cloud financial operations governance or architecture

• Deep understanding of cloud platforms and cost structures including AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and technical environments
