Commerical Banking Analyst

DUCA is looking for aCommerical Banking Analyst to join our growing team!

Job Purpose & Summary

The Commercial Banking Analyst contributes to DUCAs Commercial Lending profitability and growth by assisting in the ongoing management of a diverse portfolio of mid-market business relationships. This position supports the Commercial Finance team in analysis credit application write-up portfolio management and business development activities on a day-to-day basis.

Key Accountabilities & Duties

Assist with assessment of financing proposals due diligence research and credit applications and make recommendations that adhere to DUCAs policies and risk guidelines.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to facilitate the on-going management of credit facilities.
Conduct credit reviews of existing Members and maintain annual reviews/renewals at or below targeted levels.
Communicate with Commercial Lending clients on a day-to-day basis responding to questions and inquiries regarding products services and advice.
Assist with portfolio management duties and other day-to-day duties.
Research and analyze market segments. Monitor market conditions and trends to assess risk.

Occupational Experience & Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in business/finance/economics. Masters level degree or other related designations are considered an asset.
1-3 years experience in banking or related field considered an asset.
Previous experience and/or understanding of financial statement analysis.
Prior Construction lending experience preferred but not a requirement

Knowledge Skills & Attributes

Strong analytical skills required
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel Word and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail.
Problem solving and issue resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective team player and ability to work well within a group setting.

Salary:The annual salary range for this position starts at$64023. Actual annual base salaries will vary depending on relevant job-related factors such as experience knowledge skills qualifications and education/training. Depending on the position DUCAs total compensation package may include incentive compensation tied to company and individual performance or other benefits.
