Key Responsibilities:
Install troubleshoot and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment including comprehensive work on PLCs motor relays circuit breakers and industrial control systems to ensure optimal facility operations
Diagnose repair and maintain sophisticated electronic systems including detailed work with PLCs HMIs servo drives vision systems and AC/DC drives while ensuring all automated manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency
Perform precise calibration alignment and modification of electronic components and circuitry implementing preventive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and performance metrics
Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex electronic issues using sophisticated diagnostic equipment and technical documentation implementing both immediate solutions and long-term preventive measures
Coordinate effectively with vendors contractors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges implement system improvements and maintain rigorous equipment performance standards
Participate in facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for system upgrades process enhancements and efficiency improvements including cost-saving measures
Perform and maintain comprehensive Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safety systems ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations while protecting personnel and equipment
Must be willing to help troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems

Education & Experience:
High school diploma/GED (Electronics Technology degree preferred) or
3-5 years hands on experience as Electronics Technician preferred
Required Skills:
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Mechanical Skills
Strong knowledge of industrial controls and automation
Experience with Allen Bradley Siemens or similar PLC platforms
Expertise in electrical/electronic systems troubleshooting
Understanding of NEC electrical codes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Industrial electronics expertise
Servo and drive systems
Electrical safety knowledge
Training capabilities
Problem-solving ability

Physical Demands: The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Standing/walking for extended periods
Working in various positions (bending kneeling reaching)
Required to lift bend crouch reach twist and crawl.
Exposure to manufacturing environment (noise heat chemicals)
May require working in confined spaces
Required to work in high places.
Required to ascend and descend ladders safely.
Ability to safely operate mobile equipment.
Ability to wear respiratory protection as needed
Ability to wear ARC flash equipment
Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection steel-toe shoes safety glasses)
Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to:
Noise levels above 85 dB
Operation of complex machinery
Solvents fumes and inks
Concrete floors roof areas
Working at heights hot work
Works near energized and moving equipment
Variable Temperatures
Must be able to work flexible shifts
May require nights weekends and holidays.
An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (qualifying hours vary by location).
