Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently seeking a talented Senior Roadway Engineer for our AtlantaGA Office. The candidate will find opportunities on a wide range of projects involving multi-modal roadway planning highway design civil design design review and construction oversight.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Perform and lead engineering design review tasks for roadway projects
- Develop civil design of multi-modal transportation projects per AASHTO and GDOT applicable design standards.
- Develop plans specifications quantities and cost estimates.
- Prepare final bid packages design-build packages and bridging documents.
- Familiarity and proficiency in applying GDOT Current Supported Software Versions to design projects as required including:
- OpenRoads Designer (ORD) (Version 10.12.02.04)
- CAiCE (Visual Transportation 10 SP-8)
- Bentley Power InRoads V8i (SELECTseries 2 - Version 08.11.07.615)
- Bentley ProjectWise CONNECT (Version 10.0.3.453)
- MicroStation/J (Version 07.02.04.20)
- HCS 2022
- Synchro 11
- VISSIM 11
- SIDRA Intersection 9
- AutoTurn 3.0 (v7)
- AutoTurn 11.0.5.37 (v8i and ORD-CE)
- TORUS 6
- OpenRoads SignCAD 23.0.0.151
- MSCE (v23.00.03.005)
- Mentor and develop new engineers in transportation and roadway design.
- Lead and coordinate design activities between staff subcontractors and clients
- Perform technical analyses and reviews of infrastructure projects.
- Prepare reports plans and studies.
- Develop proposals presentations and reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What your experience looks like
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering preferably in civil or transportation curriculum.
- 12 years related experience.
- Licensed PE in the State of Georgia.
- GDOT experience preferred.
- In depth knowledge of Microstation and InRoads softwares.
- Strong technical design background in highway design and transportation engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Project management experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Active Industry participation in professional societies at local and State level a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word PowerPoint Excel.
