Job Summary
- Adequately prepares for classroom instruction
- Keeps students motivated and interested in the program and ensures students set realistic attainable goals
- Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom
- Accounts for students when they are under your responsibility
- Maintains accurate student records and files
- Adheres to all DOL Company Center and department guidelines
- Adheres to the guidelines determined by outside agencies
- Develops corrective action plans for students with deficiencies
- Monitors statistical date related to GED test and scores
- Develops instructional plans using TABE diagnostic for those students who do not meet the requirement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Possession of or eligibility for temporary teaching certification in the State in which the center is located preferred
